What’s You Will Learn:

Equine Science - this covers a broad field of management such as nutrition, psychology, health and welfare, evolution and domestication.

Manual Therapy Techniques - we provide the latest advancements in manual therapy techniques. Starting with an initial in-depth assessment and progressing to a choice of sports massage, maintenance massage and remedial massage to myofascial release, you'll learn a diverse range of techniques to help horses overcome physical limitations, recover from injuries, and optimise their performance. As an equine manual therapist, you already grasp the significance of continuous learning and remaining at the forefront of advancements in your field. Our programme is designed to elevate your expertise, hone your skills, and equip you with the credentials necessary to thrive in this dynamic arena.
The programme is accredited by UKRS align to level 6.
Credentials
You must have completed our Advanced Practitioner in Equine Integrative Support Therapies (APEIST) or Practitioner in Equine Sports and Remedial Massage (PESRM).
You will have been practising as an Equine Manual Therapist for at least 2 years and undertaking CPD.
It is recommended you will have manual therapist membership with IRVAP but not essential.
We prioritise your ongoing professional development through our own Continuing Professional Development (CPD) online courses, tailored to enhance both your skills and knowledge. Before you embark on the Master Programme you must complete 14 of our CPD online courses:
Equine Kinesio Taping parts 1, 2, 3 (or another equivalent professional K Taping accreditation)
Advanced Assessment & Prescription for Training and Rehabilitation
Bit and Bridle Assessment for Horse Owners or Equine Bit and Bridle Fitting Consultant course.
Progressing to the Master Programme
You are required to complete 3 comprehensive case studies on horses utilising the additional skills learned during the CPD.

Equine Bit and Bridle Fitting Consultant

Fully accredited by IRVAP (Institute of Registered Veterinary Animal Physiotherapists) so you are guaranteed of extremely high standards. This programme will lead to you becoming a full insured professional.
The programme has been written by musculoskeletal and bit experts so you will embark on an all-round comprehensive educational journey supported by the best in the industry.
We are not connected to any particular brand of bit so you will receive independent training aimed at absolutely selecting the right bit for a horse irrespective of its brand.
The online programme is delivered in multi-media style presentations, films and comprehensive training manuals. You will have 2 assignments to produce and 6 case studies on horses. Your work will be assessed by our expert inhouse assessor who is also a bit fitting professional in the industry.
